THE STORY
One of the most powerful and foundational passages in scripture is found in Matthew 22:37-40.
It’s here that Jesus teaches us that the entirety of scripture - the law and the teachings of the prophets - hang on the commandment to love. He tells us that love for God and love for our fellow man epitomise the word of God.

In other words: Love is the Gospel!
the message
As we celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ - the ultimate expression of love (John 3:16) - we remember that the thread of love is woven unmistakably throughout scripture from Creation to Revelation.
And we learn that as imitators of Christ (Ephesians 5:1-2(we too should seek to demonstrate the love of God in our daily walk with him and in our relationships with those around us
